Meet the team: Aissa Bouregba, Sales Manager at JEMA

Company Life

When you meet Aissa, you quickly understand that he is anything but ordinary, in the best way. Aissa embodies determination, curiosity, and a positive mindset. After an early start in a completely different field, he steered his path with intention and passion, ultimately finding his place in the world of energy; a sector he considers both fascinating and full of promise.

Can you tell us a bit more about your educational journey?

My background is quite atypical. I started out at 15 in bakery and pastry, which taught me discipline and precision. Later, I decided to return to school to complete my High School diploma, and that is when I discovered my interest in engineering. I then pursued Industrial Engineering, which opened doors to exciting career opportunities and strong long-term prospects. The energy sector caught my attention very quickly: innovative, essential, and constantly evolving. That interest led me to a master’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, and Renewable Energy.

How did you arrive at JEMA? What attracted you to the company?

My journey within CE+T Group started with my final thesis project at CE+T Power, where I worked on domestic energy storage. I developed a practical prototype combining a battery system and a converter to maximize self-consumption, enable peak shaving, and more. After a six-month internship, I joined CE+T for a year and a half. Later, an opportunity arose to grow within the group as a Key Account Manager at JEMA, and I decided to take it. The group and the company trusted me, and today I am stepping into a Sales Manager role, another exciting chapter.

What drives you in your role?

The constant exposure to technological innovation. This environment requires agility and creativity, and it evolves every day. It feels a bit like attending the premiere of a movie of which the storyline is still unfolding: dynamic, surprising, and incredibly stimulating.

Who are you outside of work?

I am a judoka and have been practicing for 16 years which led me to become a black belt. I am passionate about martial arts in general. I am also active in several non-profit organizations focused on academic support. I have also been enjoying a home renovation project lately.

Is there a quote or a saying that inspires you in life?
